Responsibility Beyond Businesses

At Safwan Bashundhara Global, responsibility does not stop at industry. We believe businesses must contribute to people and society as they grow. Our initiatives focus on education, healthcare, disaster support, and community welfare. These efforts reflect our belief that sustainable progress must include social progress. By supporting communities and creating opportunities, SBG works to build a more inclusive and responsible future.

Bashundhara Special Children Foundation

Bashundhara Special Children Foundation organized a joyful and inspiring day at a special gathering for children with neurodevelopment challenges. The event brought together 115 children along with their parents, teachers, and friends in a warm and supportive environment. The program featured recitation, poetry, dance, music, and creative performances presented by the children themselves. Handcrafted items, paintings, printed saris, jewellery, and bags created by the children were also displayed, highlighting their creativity and growing confidence.

The foundation works to support differently abled children from underprivileged families by providing education, vocational learning, and physical development opportunities. Through structured classrooms, open play spaces, and guided training, the initiative helps children build life skills and confidence. Such programs reflect a continued commitment to encouraging talent, inclusion, and social progress for children with special needs.

Braille Books Donation

Safwan Bashundhara Global continues to support inclusive education through initiatives that expand learning opportunities for visually impaired students. Through the Bashundhara Khata Braille Book Donation Program, braille versions of higher secondary academic books are produced and distributed for students who have progressed to the next stage of education. The initiative focuses on making essential learning materials accessible so that visually impaired learners can continue their studies with confidence and independence.

The program is implemented in collaboration with the Visually Impaired Education and Welfare Foundation (VIEW Foundation), an organization dedicated to supporting visually impaired communities through education and social development initiatives. Braille books approved by the national curriculum are produced through specialized braille printing facilities and distributed to students across the country. This initiative reflects SBG’s commitment to education, accessibility, and equal learning opportunities for every student.
